Where I live we generally get a dusting of snow a couple times each winter. However, in the winter of 2009, we got about 1.5 to 2 feet of snow overnight. Snow day! I’m no snow bunny, but that does not mean I cannot appreciate the beauty of freshly fallen snow.

The inside in no less stunning than the outside with the dozens of stained glass windows, including the infamous Rose Windows that are honestly so high above you that the details are hard to appreciate. But even from a distance they are beautiful.
