At my current job, I am required to design on the fly for the majority of my projects. Within the span of about 1-2 days I need to come up with a concept, create it and mail out proofs of gourmet food product labels. Weeks and months to mull over a design are a luxury I rarely enjoy.
For this logo, the customer simply stated they wanted their name and the words ‘Secret Sauce’ on the product. Talk about a needle in a haystack, but luckily they were very happy with the end result.
2012 Half N Half Rockstars Logo
In honor of Thanksgiving, I am giving a truckload of thanks to my Rockstars. I designed the above logo for our 2012 team tshirts and cannot imagine how I will ever give back to them all the great memories, lasting lessons and ridiculous amounts of laughter they have given to me over the years. They truly and most generously rock my world!
Every year Richard needs autograph handouts to sign and give away at the races to promote his team and his sponsors. Years ago I took the photograph, used in the below handout, at a tiny dirt track in Oregon during NST Speedweek of Richard hustling the car into turn three at Willamette Speedway. I decided to repurpose it for this year’s handout through the use of some fun filters and editing in Adobe Photoshop that enabled me to create the final handout below. A handful of photographs and sponsor logos are located on the backside, but this side manages to illustrate the ruggedness and momentum that any sprint car fan would recognize and enjoy.
Autograph Handout 2012
I designed the Dames Boutique logo earlier this year for a plus-sized clothing store in downtown Grass Valley. The owner wanted something colorful and fun to reflect her store front and personality. Along with the logo, I also designed the business papers, marketing paraphernalia and the website www.damesplus.com.
I recently designed this logo for a local softball tournament. They ended up using the black and white version on mugs and water bottles, but I am partial to the 2-color version.
